Just a note. The number for T M Kim (150) is not correct. His instructor is Song Ki Kim #312) I do know that T M Kim's number is behind C S Kim since Master Kim is his senior. Also I received my cho dan under the US TSD Fed, so If it's still possible to add some Michael DiBassi 23733 John K Pistella 23734 Ralph Gallucci 23735. Thanks for the info. I have wanted to put together a list of my own.

When I started with Grandmaster Kyongwon Ahn in the 70's we were taught that it is a sign of respect and humility, as a teenager when we went to tournaments I noticed all the Masters and Grandmasters presented themselves this way, now more than 33 years later I teach my students the same way.

Hi

I not sure who is in charge of keeping this list up to date or if this is the right channel to go throught to have it updated but I think that this is a great idea to have a list of DAN BONS.

Can the following DAN members be added into this list

38009 - Jason Chan
41200 - Tony Hertog
46689 - Anthony Chan
46690 - Aden Wilson
46691 - Grant Bellis
46692 - Tony Brownjohn
46693 - Joshua Page
46694 - Heather Molomolo
46695 - Kim Page

The above names can be verified from the website: http://www.soobahkdo.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=16&Itemid=28

For the record if former (non active) members are still kept on this list
33985 - Michael Ryder
35246 - Linda Rauch
36451 - Jarrod Fong

Thanks

That's a interesting interpretation, but where exactly did that come from? It's not documented anywhere I could find, although I was able to find a couple of reference to what Nowling Sahyun suggested. So where did this 'explanation' come from? Of course i'm not saying it's wrong, just never heard that before!

Actually, the point is a show of friendship. The left hand supports the weight of our friendship and respect we share. Or, our respect and frienship carries the wieght of a mountain, therefore, must be supported. Most ITF senior Dans know this.
