CISM Introducing Taekwon-Do

The International Military Sport Council (CISM) with the help of the Korea Taekwon-Do Association will officially introduce Taekwon-Do in its 1978 event.  President & Rear Admiral Aldo Massarini made the announcement after a three day meeting of the CISM executive committee at the Kukkiwon in Korea which ended April 7th 1976.

CISM Secretary-General Raoul Mollett of Belgium pointed out that this art is spreading rapidly across Europe and many other parts of the world.  He expressed his hopes that a clinic onTaekwon-Do coulde be held annually.

Kim Un-yong, president of the World Taekwon-Do Federation presented the Italian Rear Admiral Massarini with an honorary certificate for a seventh dan (black belt).  Other members of the CISM executive committee also received honorary certificates or memberships.
