We teach as our core style Ch'ang Hon Taekwon-Do (commonly and mistakenly referred to as ITF Taekwon-Do). This is the style that was created by General Choi, HongHi and improved by Gen. Choi and his instructors since 1955. All of our students must learn the Ch'ang Hon set of patterns as they progress through the ranks. We also make sure our roots and our history is preserved by instructing our students in the older ChungDo Kwan (Shotokan Karate) set being called commonly the PyongAhn set. Our "IlBu CheRu" or Unified Study Group students also learn the Palgwe & Taegeuk pattern sets as well. The "Unified" group are students that voluntarily take on this extra work, with the ideal of keep all styles of Taekwon-Do alive!
We also teach and promote Hapkido and Hanmudo. What is different about our programs, we do not learn from those who have taken a weekend course here and there, we learn directly from the world leaders of these diverse and varied art forms! You can not learn the arts such as Hapkido or Hanmudo from classes here and there, you must have intensive study to learn these arts, as you do with all martial arts!
We also promote many self defense clinics throughout the year, to promote general awareness and safety along with helping to promote a POSITIVE image of the martial arts!
